Our Process for Roof Replacement
Complete an Inspection.
Our process begins with a no-obligation or obligation inspection. The process usually takes less than 15 minutes. If your roof qualifies for replacement, D.T. Contracting of Western Kentucky will assist you with filing your insurance claim.
File Your Roof Claim.
We know that insurance is overwhelming which is why we file your claim for you. On a joint phone call we’ll contact your insurance together. Once we are granted permission to work with your insurance company on your behalf, we complete the process.
Meet the Adjuster.
Once an insurance claim is filed, an adjuster is dispatched to your home for an evaluation. Insurance companies desire to keep their payouts to a minimum. We attend their evaluation to hold them accountable and ensure your claim is properly assessed.
Statement of Loss Review.
Once the adjuster completes the review, a statement of loss will be provided to you. We will review and interpret the findings for you, then coordinate the roof replacement within the limits of your insurance so that all you pay is your deductible.

In addition to our experience in the roofing industry and our willingness to navigate the time-consuming and frustrating insurance process on your behalf, we will register your roof with the manufacturer for a limited lifetime warranty at no extra cost. This warranty is one-time transferrable; i.e., if you sell the home or if it gets inherited, the warranty remains. In addition, we handle the warranty registration on your behalf, so there’s no additional paperwork to file.
